I saw him making faces and playing with her, it just melted my heart. As I was stuffing my face with a nyc pretzel with mustrad, I loaded my camera with more film and just started clicking away. I was prolly just about 15 feet away. He was so intuned with her not to notice much around him.

On other notes, I'm working on creating a 2007 NYC Calendar. I have started it and found it I had all my months in the wrong rotation. sucky. So tonight I'll be redoing those.
I did manage to actually buy myself a digital camera. Just a basic point and shot one from Canon .. a 5MP one. I don't care for digital cameras really. Just something handy if I need to share something fast. You know, film is my life! So if I take some random shots with the digital, I'll share them here at this blog only!

Cell Phone Photos

I have taken a bunch of photos with my cell phone. Here is a photo set at flickr of some of my shots. Cell Phone Set

I did buy a new digital camera. Nothing fancy, just a point and shoot camera by Canon. Canon A530 Silver 5.0MP 4X Optical Zoom. Focal length 35-140mm. Some manual settings, like 1.8f. It doe what I want it to do and it's small to fit iin my handbag when I am out and about. I was on a buget and just wanted something already to take with me where ever I go. This camera is perfect for me! I'll be taking a lot of wedding associated parties :P

I was following this dude, ok almost stalking him .. waiting for a good profile stand.

Here is some news, I figure I should start actualling typing up actual photography stuff from me!

Photography
I have found a partner, Keith Franke and is a willing soul to partake in my photography ideas. He really digs the ideas. But the only problem is he's a bit not close. He really wants to visit and go to boston or nyc to hang out and take tons of photography. I'm pretty excited go out and spend the day walking everywhere and take photos. I don't want to stop in shops or look at stuff really. But just focus on people, creating a scene in my head.

These portraits that I will share with you are very different then you already see me. I'm exposed in the sense that I feel vulnerable, alone, sad, tired, waiting, stressed. As mister man said after viewing the first scans of these ortraits, 'from documentary to art'. He made such wonderful comments and help me to even view them even deeper.

Thanks to `zerocomplex for his support in my positivness with this photo.

In other news, I sent out two rolls of film to a mail away developer. one roll of Ilford HP5 3200 and a Ilford 400 120 film. My first medium formate roll! I look forward to them returning. By the end of Feb. I should see them. I'm looking a buying a professional studio light. I would love to give better protraits. I was in the NYC during the weekend with the mister man, we had a good time. We had a hotel to crash at. I really really really can't wait for spring to hit again. It's my time to shine as a photographer. It don't handle the winter months very well. I also got a snazzy hip camera bag, it fits one slr body with 100mm lens with three additional lens. So basically I can carry all my gear! yay! it's so much better to have it on your hip. The weight of all the gear is centerized. *feels like a pro*
